Our restaurant in Val Pusteria – trout, game & local cuisine

From the trout from our own fish pond to the dumplings and dessert: top-quality ingredients are what make the difference. Almost everything is prepared by hand. Game dishes, South Tyrolean classics, pasta specialities and vegetarian dishes – for these, we rely on regional products wherever possible. Our recommendation: the beef cheek with mashed potatoes and roasted vegetables, or the hand-made venison-filled tortelloni with cranberry port-wine jus. And to finish, why not a slice of home-made apple strudel, or a dessert such as the hand-made curd cheese dumplings with a nougat core. Whether at one of the cosy tables inside or outside on the terrace with a view over the Braies mountains – after a day in the mountains, it all tastes twice as good here. In short: with us, you simply eat well.

Whether it’s a club outing, a school trip or a company Christmas dinner – larger groups are welcome here too. You’re also welcome to celebrate a first communion or a christening with us. Tell us what you have in mind, and we’ll put together a menu tailored to you.

What’s on offer to drink?

An aperitivo after a hike, coffee and cake in the afternoon, or simply a refreshment in between – our bar or the terrace outside are great places to relax.
